Integration

Canary Labs Historian has been designed using a series of standard specifications defined by the OPC Foundation. The OPC Specifications are the results of collaboration of a number of leading worldwide automation suppliers working in cooperation with Microsoft.industry recognized open to work within your existing environment, seamlessly integrating with your existing supervisory, DCS, PLC and other Historian products. With over 10,000 implementations in a dozen industries, our solution has been proven to work effectively no matter what your existing application architecture maybe.

OPC Conectivity

Canary Labs has been a charter member of the OPC Foundation since 1996 and an early adopter of OPC technology. Canary Labs proactively participates in interoperability testing & validation annually with over 500 OPC members including, Wonderware, GE Faunc, Rockwell Automation and other leading SCADA, HMI, EMI and MES providers. Our Historian Trending Tools are OPC client and OPC-HDA server based solutions, tested, and fully compliant with OPC Specifications.

OPC is an open connectivity in industrial automation and the enterprise systems that support industry. Interoperability is assured through the creation and maintenance of open standards specifications. There are currently seven standards specifications completed or in development. ActiveX Control

Our Trend Link Viewer has been widely recognized as the "viewer of choice" for many leading companies around the world. With the ability to support 200 charts per trend with unlimited configurations, all controlled by the end user it is easy to see why. To take advantage of this viewer via your HMI or other applications, Canary Labs extends use of the Trend Link via ActiveX Control making it easy to integrate into any environment.

We have a large number of Wonderware clients who have turned to Canary Labs for their Historian needs, embedding our viewer into the HMI. Canary Labs has also provided our Trend Link Viewer via an OEM arrangement to one of the world's largest and most recognized manufacturer of electronic test and measurement tools, and network troubleshooting equipment.

Extensibility

Exporting the data into other third party applications such as other reporting tools is fully supported with Canary Labs' Trend Export and Excel Connection solutions, enabling any combination of data, filtered by any tag to be easily exported into a .csv file. Considering the volume of raw data accessible via the Historian, our export tools ensure you do not need to spend valuable time reformatting and manipulating large amounts of data. Canary Labs handles all of the data extraction through our export configuration user interface, getting data out has never been easier.
