About Canary Labs
Canary Labs was founded in 1985 and has been focused on delivering world class historian trending tools and solutions. Since our inception, our client base has grown to over 10,000 implementations in over 24 countries around the world. Why the name Canary Labs?
The canary is particularly sensitive to toxic gases and was used by miners as an early warning device to detect gases that were invisible to the human senses. Any sign of distress from the canary was a clear signal that the conditions underground were not safe. Miners were able to evacuate safely, saving countless lives.
In a similar way, Canary Labs' Historian Trending tools provide operators access to invisible process variables that are not easily detected. This provides early warning alerts to problems that can be resolved before they become disasters.
