As Past President of the CISO Division for the CIO Association of Canada, former VP & CISO at ATCO Group and Cybersecurity Director at Encana, Steve has led cyber risk management initiatives spanning critical infrastructure, regulated utilities, manufacturing, and global operations. He is widely recognized for building high-performing security teams and establishing strategic frameworks that align cybersecurity with business goals.

David’s experience began as an automation/control systems engineer in 1995, where he travelled to sites developing applications, programming and interfacing PLCs and SCADA systems, before joining OSIsoft as a Software Engineer for 8 years.

After David founded Dimension Software in 2008, he launched the platform Asset Intellect, helping businesses turn the information in their OT/IT systems into valuable insight. Dimension Software is growing across New Zealand, Australia & APAC, North America and Europe, helping customers make better data driven decisions using their existing infrastructure.

Dr. Huzefa Ismail holds a PhD from MIT and combines deep expertise in production chemistry, flow assurance, and integrity with the application of data science and advanced analytics. His work focuses on using chemistry and operational data together to diagnose complex field problems, identify risk, and improve performance.

Steve is the COO at Canary, where he oversees internal operations and helps guide the company’s continued growth. Over more than six years at Canary, he has worked across customer support, product knowledge, and leadership, including four years as Director of Customer Support. His experience gives him a unique perspective on Canary’s products, customers, and the evolving needs of the industry.

Garnet is an experienced senior technical specialist with a history of working in the industrial automation industry. With broad experience across multiple operational platforms in Process Control, SCADA, and HMIs, Garnet has worked to bring plant level data into historian and visualization solutions that help organizations increase operator effectiveness, improve safety and optimize operations.
